How to have an impressive date with a woman

Asking her for a date:

• Before asking her out for a date, try to have some conversation together. This will be an opportunity for you to discover if your personalities and ideas are attuned with each other, before you do decide to ask her out for a date.

• When calling through the phone. Don’t forget to mention to her the conversations you had. This will give her the impression that you do listen, making her feel important. Then if you feel that it is time to ask her, go ahead; ask gently, not in a demanding manner.

• Say her name. Make it a point to say her name every so often in your conversations, to make her feel at ease and special.

• Smile. Aside from putting up a positive attitude, your smile is an indication that you are happy to be with her.

• Have a Sense of Humor. Making a woman laugh means you have won half your battle. This means that she is having a nice time and creates a positive atmosphere. This will be an occasion she would remember, because she had fun!

• Be attentive. Listen to what she has to say, do not interrupt. Let her finish, before you state your opinion and make eye contact.

• Be honest. Let her get to know you by telling her what you do and what interests you. If she does not like you for who you are, then she is not worth your time. Show interest in her too, by asking her about her work, hobbies and her likes. Be sensible and honest in initiating such conversations.

• Relax. Do not worry that your date is not having a good time. Go ahead and ask her. Just manage yourself well and enjoy the evening. Keep the conversations open and ask questions. Be sincere.

• Do not pretend. Be yourself. Pretending to be somebody that you’re not will not work in the long run. The truth will always come out sooner or later. It is a rewarding feeling if someone is drawn to you for who you really are.

• Never compare. It will be very unfair of you if you compare your date to your past girlfriend. Keep in mind that she is a totally different person with her own personality. Take the time to discover her; you might be pleased if you do. Comparing won’t get you anywhere.
• Never tell your date about the break-up of a previous relationship. Keep in mind that you asked her out so you both could have fun together. She is not your therapist, so do not recount your past relationship. Bury the past and move on. Here is a woman in front of you who is interested to know you more. Get to know her too, initiate a conversation that could lead to a common interest.

• Enjoy. Dating should be exciting and relaxing. A woman can sense if you are enjoying your time with her or not. Don’t stress yourself trying so hard to make it the perfect date because it won’t be. But you both can enjoy it. After all, you did invite her out because you liked her in the first place. Be spontaneous and have fun.

Whilst pursuing online dating I came across these interesting facts about Dating Customs around the World, which I thought I’d share with you, I think most of these customs apply to teenagers but will ring true to any age group:

In Afghanistan dating is rare because most marriages are arranged by parents, and schools are separate for boys and girls, which means there are few natural opportunities for girls and boys to meet one another. Across the country females have a 7pm curfew and males have an 11pm curfew.

In Australia teenagers tend to hang out in large groups and don’t become ‘coupley’ until they are 18 or 19 years old. Dating is not allowed until the age of 15 in Central and South America. Once they begin dating it tends to be in large groups going to weekend dance parties. Teens also regularly gather at local clubs to eat and talk. The no dating rule clearly doesn’t hold true for everyone though. I also read of the case of ‘Pamela’ a 16 year old Argentinian girl who gave birth to her second set of triplets in February 2008 making her the mother of 7 kids!

In Finland, groups of as many as 30 teens attend cinema screenings. Finland women are traditionally quite quiet. Nightclubs and restaurants tend to be the most popular places to go to when dating in Finland.

Slumber parties are common in Italy and Switzerland, a mixed group of teenagers get together for parties at their homes and they stay and sleep there when the party is over.

A pandilla is a club or a group of friends with the same interests, like cycling or hill walking. It is common in Spain for teenagers to join a pandilla and then dating is done one-to-one and both girls and boys ask each other out and split the cost of the evening’s entertainment.

I read this article the other day about Sex Dreams and thought it was quite interesting. Everyone has a naughty sex dream at some point in their lives but even if you wake up feeling guilty, you can rest assured it is normal and you have nothing to feel worried about.

Believing this means that I should behave according to what the Bible says…and I think if I had truly been doing this over the years I would have upset less people and been a much happier bunny lol! I believe that the Bible was written by men but inspired by God…. (Think God, a Dictaphone and the John of the gospels….well almost like that) …..Anyway I endeavor to be truer to what I believe from now on….which translates to those of you who know me….. as less of a jerk…..And as I have found happiness within my spiritual life, I really want to find someone who shares my love of Christianity and will live a happy and fulfilling life with me & sometime in the not too distant future our children! After doing some research I’ve been well warned that the ‘Free’ Online Dating sites are full of weirdos and perverts so I’m going to bite the bullet and pay for a few but I will also test out some free sites for my self. Internet Dating is definitely the way forward. At least I get to pick and choose before I meet up with any potential dates. I’m also much more likely to meet someone I like, rather than when I’m pissed in a bar, going home with Brad Pitt & waking up with Mr. Bean. It is proactive and far better than sulking in front of the telly drowning my sorrows in a bottle of red Bridget Jones styley.
