Well I had to laugh when I first saw this advertised, my immediate thought was ‘the easiest way to look better online is to post a fake pic of someone gorgeous’, but after reading more closely I realized that this is actually a pretty innovative site. ‘Look Better Online’ has a team of photographers at various locations across the UK and if you find one in your area, you hire them to take professional photos of you. The photoshoot will last approximately 45 minutes and will take place at the photographer’s studio, a location near you or even your own home—wherever is most convenient .

You then choose your favourite pictures, the photographer uploads them to the lookbetteronline.com website and you download them from there.

The photographers are trained to take ‘real’ looking photos so that you look like you (only better) and they are not glamorized or fake looking.

Packages start from $99 to $299 and you can also pay extra to have your photo retouched, (if for example you wanted to airbrush out your spots and wrinkles), printed in Black and White or in Sepia.

Unfortunately they don’t presently have a photographer in my area but I’ll be sure to try the service out once they do!
